Founded in 2007, DJ and Producer Marlon Flohr and Ralph Van Hilst came together not fully knowing that they would evolve into a chart-topping sensation worldwide. After spending a few months in the studio they released the track, ‘Beat Cuts’, that was later picked up by Fedde Le Grand. The Tech-House track landed the duo in the fast lane to fame. In 2011, Bassjackers’ single, ‘Mush Mush’ was released on DJ Tiësto’s renowned label, Musical Freedom. Some fans would agree ‘Mush Mush’ furthered the Progressive House movement. With such talent and distinguished tempo, Flohr and Van Hilst carried out their rhythm and gave themselves the acclaimed reputation they carry out to this day.
In 2013, Bassjackers dropped their next career furthering track for the Electronic Music scene. Featuring acclaimed DJ, Martin Garrix, this Beatport Chart topping song was their most successful track yet. Following that, in 2014, they toured throughout Australia for Future Music Festival.
Bassjackers have managed to work with many different record labels including Spinnin’ Records, Samsobeats, as well as Dim Mak. They have given Electro-House a new vibe, bringing a fun, fresh feel to each performance. Bassjackers is not a show you want to miss. They will be at The Venue in Minneapolis, on November 4th.
